If you offer multiple colors or sizes you need this information as well. It can be extremely helpful to put all of this information into a spreadsheet. A truly simple cart will allow you to upload your products directly into the cart using a spreadsheet. You will also need to input your merchant account information so that you can accept credit cards and electronic checks, if you have such merchant accounts. After you have followed these steps you need only make your cart live. This can usually be accomplished with the click of a button. Keep your product list updated, and add products as they come into your company. You also must remember to keep track of your inventory and keep that updated on the site as well, especially if you sell offline as well as online. If you follow all of these steps, you should have no problems in creating a shopping cart easily and effectively.
